Lit.3321 M&W Genre Projects
All the class has presented their projects and all of them were great. Every project had their creative way of teaching their class. I thought that every group will engage their readers and even those students that don't like to read. This class was an great experience for me which I got to see and hear different ways of teaching. Good LUCK to everyone on their teaching.

Lit. 3321-350 M&W genre project
I enjoyed the First group that presented their projects. I was impressed on the way the whole group worked on putting it together. They took each others opinion and made it into a great idea. I enjoyed the story play they did for the class and that will really engage young students to listen to the story as well to use their little imagination. The costumes were great and interesting and very creative. You will be excellent teachers and the children will love your class.

Lit. class 3321 M&W read aloud video
I enjoyed the read aloud with Ms. Myers I saw that the children were very engaged in the story.
When she started to read the book she talked about the author which is important to know. She had a well managed class which a teacher should be able to do so all of her students can learn and enjoy the read aloud. Ms. Myers also stopped through the story and asked questions and the children would answer and this allowed them to comet with the story as well. In every story you will be able to see problems and the children can find solutions and that is where their critical thinking begins. I enjoyed hearing the children make predictions to the story and that will keep the children engaged because it gets them excited and they feel as if they are part of the story.

Lit. class 3321-350 M&W Non-Fiction
Non-Fiction is based on factual facts. Children enjoy to read on books that contain factual info. on animals. We read non-fiction all the time unless you choose to read a fiction book. We drive and on the way to our destination we see all types of signs and especially when we are hungry and trying to figure out what we want to eat, the sign appears and that helps us decide, sometimes or we vote on it. I find non-fiction books helpful and some are intersting.

Lit. 3321-350 M&W Fiction Books
Today in class we did a fiction book and what fiction meant to us. Just about the whole thought about fiction the same way. children enjoy fairy tales because they get into the story. Many children imagine that they are the super hero or think that they can feel the magic of the story.
After the story children have a hard time coming down from cloud nine because the book could be intense that they couldn't put the book alone. So books could be suspense, horror, magical,etc.. I get into the suspense books because I enjoy making predictions until I read the ending. When I read with my daughter we act like the characters in the story and we somtimes change the ending and we get into the story. Fiction books are great for children because they use sthis to get into creative writing and that is a great tool to help them with their writing skills.
As a teacher I would read a ffiction book and have the children create their own ending to the story which we can all share with each other.

Lit.3321 M&W Chapter 7
Picture Books are part of our world. I have bought pictures for my children and it engages them to read. picture books can tell you how the story is going to end or you can draw conclusions by the pictures. When I read to my children I have them look at the pictures before I read and we start to make predictions about the story. Many pictures tell you the story and some of them just makes the story fun and the colors are out there. teachers should have a library full of picture books and age appropriate for there children so they can enjoy them. I believe these books are very important and we shouldneverfeel that we are to old for this type of books. We use these books as visual aids for all readers.
Lit.3321 M&W Author profile
The picture book I enjoyed reading is " But Mom,Everybody Else Does" Author Kay winters and pictures by Doug Cushman. This is a funny picture book which presents universal situations in most families. This book is for ages 3-8, however parents purchase this book for there teenagers.
the little girl in this book is trying to convince her mother that her acts and desires are not only
legitimate but also universal. We as parents have heard everybody does it , nobody goes to bed early, everybody has this type of shoes etc. As a teacher I would use pattern books to spark creative writing. This book was chosen by the children's book of the month as one of their selection and it has also been translated into Arabic.
